Glasgow Rangers Football Club
The Ibrox area of Glasgow is the home of Glasgow Rangers Football Club, Ibrox Stadium. Rangers FC is a club built on its traditions and its stadium is instantly recognisable by its immaculate red brick front. The 50,000 seater stadium provides an intimidating atmosphere to visiting teams and was a factor in Rangers magnificent run to the 2008 UEFA Cup Final. The stadium was moved to its current location in 1899 and has continued to grow and develop ever since. It is now recognised as one of only twelve five star stadiums in Europe.
Tours of the stadium can be organised through the clubs website and will allow you to walk through the hallowed halls of Ibrox, taking in the trophy room, the dressing rooms and even the manager’s office. This is an amazing experience for any Rangers fan, and indeed any football fan, to experience one of the finest stadiums in the world.
