Hotelier and Restaurateur Maurice V Taylor first opened La Bonne
Auberge Brasserie, as Glasgow's original French Mediterranean Brasserie
and Bar on Bastille Day in 1975. It's first home was in the Park
Circus area of the City.
La Bonne Auberge was inspired by the Brasseries of the French Riviera
in the early '70s, and over the last quarter of a century has been
a principal player in forming what is Glasgow's exceptional restaurant
scene
Today in the splendid surroundings of the Holiday Inn Glasgow, and
under the guidance of Executive Chef Gerry Sharkey, La Bonne Auberge
recently awarded a rosette award from the AA in recognition of the
