What’s On in Glasgow

From theatre and music to shopping and culture...

Glasgow is a rich and vibrant city with so much to see and do. For many of our guests, a visit to Scotland's second city is all about catching a show at one of our neighbouring theatres. But their enjoyment doesn't stop there; with historical buildings and fascinating architecture, the varied dining scene and plenty of places to indulge in some retail therapy - you'll never be short of things to do.

SEC (Scottish Event Campus)

The Scottish Event Campus (SEC) features the SEC Centre– five interconnected exhibition and meeting spaces, the iconic 3,000 seat SEC Armadillo and our most recent addition, The SSE Hydro – a 13,000 capacity concert, sporting and special events arena.

Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum

Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum houses one of Europe's great art collections. It is amongst the top three free-to-enter visitor attractions in Scotland and one of the most visited museums in the United Kingdom outside of London.

Glasgow Science Centre

Glasgow Science Centre is one of Scotland's must-see visitor attractions - presenting concepts of science and technology in unique and inspiring ways.

Riverside Museum

Riverside is home to some of the world’s finest cars, bicycles, ship models, trams and locomotives. Interactive displays and the hugely popular historic Glasgow street scene bring the objects and stories to life.

Aladdin Pantomime Kings Theatre Glasgow

With the Holiday Inn being located in the theatreland district of Glasgow, we are very privileged to have lots of amazing shows, performances and pantomimes happening on our door step.

The Kings Theatre, Glasgow, is located just a short walk away from the hotel and this year’s spectacular pantomime is Aladdin.
