Hampden Park Glasgow

Hampden Park, Glasgow, is home to the Scottish national football team and the Scottish Football Museum. Rebuilt in 1999 the stadium retains the memories of Scotland’s footballing history. With its five star facilities it ranks among the premier stadiums in Europe. Not only does the Stadium host national games, it also hosts both the Scottish FA and Scottish League Cup finals. Along with sporting events, Hampden Park is used as an outdoor venue for concerts and in recent years has hosted the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bon Jovi and the Rolling Stones.

Along with its ability to host large events, Hampden Park is also home to the Scottish Football Museum. Here there is memorabilia dating back to the very origins of Scottish football. There is plenty to see and do within the museum and is a great day out for children.

Hampden Park is approx 3 miles from the Holiday Inn Glasgow Theatreland hotel.
